Check the account alert counters and remove expired, stopped or unnecessary alerts. If the active alerts you genuinely need still exceed the current allowance, compare the plan limits.
What you may be seeing
- TradingView blocks a new active alert
- The alert dialog displays a plan limit message
- You have many old alerts in Alert Manager
Most likely causes
- The current plan allowance for that alert type has been reached
- Old alerts remain active even though they are no longer useful
- Several alerts monitor overlapping conditions
Try this first
- Open Alert Manager and review active alerts
- Stop or delete obsolete and duplicate alerts
- Identify the type and number of alerts still required
- Compare the current alert allowances only if the requirement remains above the limit
If that didn’t fix it
- Consolidate similar Pine alert conditions where technically appropriate
- Reduce low-value duplicate notifications
- Use a shorter test list before scaling the alert set
Verify the fix
The required alerts are active, non-duplicative and a new alert can be created without a capacity warning.
Why this happens
Check the account alert counters and remove expired, stopped or unnecessary alerts. If the active alerts you genuinely need still exceed the current allowance, compare the plan limits.
Price alerts, technical alerts and watchlist alerts may have separate capacities. Diagnose the exact alert type before changing plans, and do not recreate duplicates that monitor the same condition.
