Confirm that webhook notifications are available for the account, enable two-factor authentication and enter a valid HTTPS endpoint. Plan access does not fix an invalid or unreachable webhook URL.
What you may be seeing
- The Webhook URL field is unavailable
- TradingView rejects the endpoint URL
- The alert is created but no request reaches the server
Most likely causes
- The account is not eligible for webhook notifications
- Two-factor authentication is not enabled
- The endpoint, protocol or server response is invalid
Try this first
- Enable two-factor authentication
- Confirm current webhook eligibility for the account
- Use a valid public HTTPS endpoint
- Send a harmless test alert and inspect the alert log and server response
If that didn’t fix it
- Use email or app notifications while building the endpoint
- Test the receiver independently before connecting TradingView
- Use a secure relay that does not expose secrets in the alert message
Verify the fix
The alert log shows a webhook delivery attempt and the endpoint records one correctly authenticated test request.
Why this happens
Confirm that webhook notifications are available for the account, enable two-factor authentication and enter a valid HTTPS endpoint. Plan access does not fix an invalid or unreachable webhook URL.
Webhooks send an HTTP request when an alert triggers. Treat the endpoint as production infrastructure: do not place credentials in the alert body, validate requests on the server and test with a harmless payload.
