Short answer

Use the reset control in TradingView's bottom chart-navigation buttons to restore the chart view. If only the vertical scale is distorted, reset the price scale instead.

What you may be seeing

  • The chart is zoomed too far in or out
  • Price bars are shifted away from the visible area
  • The vertical price scale looks compressed or stretched

Most likely causes

  1. The chart was manually zoomed or scrolled
  2. The visible time or price range was changed
  3. The price scale is no longer using its automatic fit

Try this first

  1. Move to the navigation controls at the bottom of the chart
  2. Use the reset-chart-view control
  3. If the time view is fine but price scaling is wrong, open the price-scale settings
  4. Choose Reset price scale to restore Auto fitting

If that didn’t fix it

  1. Double-click the price scale when you only need to restore automatic vertical scaling
  2. Check chart scale settings if logarithmic, percent, or another scale mode is intentionally enabled

Verify the fix

The relevant chart range is visible again and the price scale fits the displayed data without unwanted compression.

Why this happens

Use TradingView’s chart navigation controls to reset a chart that has been zoomed or shifted away from the view you want. The navigation buttons at the bottom of Supercharts include a reset-chart-view control.

If the problem is only the vertical price scale, reset the price scale instead. TradingView’s Reset price scale option turns Auto mode back on and fits the visible data to the screen.
