Short answer

Paper Trading supports up to four exit levels. Add the levels in the order ticket and make sure each Take Profit quantity is paired with the corresponding Stop Loss quantity.

What you may be seeing

  • You want to scale out at several targets
  • Only one TP or SL is currently configured
  • Exit quantities do not cover the full paper position

Most likely causes

  1. Additional exit levels have not been added
  2. Paired quantities do not match
  3. The total exit quantity differs from the entry size

Try this first

  1. Open the Paper Trading order ticket
  2. Enable Take Profit and Stop Loss
  3. Add up to four paired exit levels
  4. Check prices and quantities before submitting

If that didn’t fix it

  1. Use fewer levels for a simpler test
  2. Modify active exit levels after the parent order if supported
  3. Close portions manually when testing discretionary exits

Verify the fix

The chart and Orders tab show the intended paired exit levels and their quantities add up to the protected position size.

Why this happens

Paper Trading supports up to four exit levels. Add the levels in the order ticket and make sure each Take Profit quantity is paired with the corresponding Stop Loss quantity.

The combined exit quantities should match the intended position size. Review every price and quantity before submitting because paired exits determine how much remains after each target or stop is filled.
