Short answer

Some integrations do not allow SL/TP on market orders or on each individual fill. They may only allow protective orders for the net position or as brackets attached when the parent order is placed.

What you may be seeing

  • SL and TP fields are disabled
  • A market order cannot include brackets
  • Protective orders cannot be attached to one individual fill

Most likely causes

  1. The integration supports protection only for the net position
  2. Market orders cannot carry brackets in that workflow
  3. The broker requires brackets on the parent pending order

Try this first

  1. Confirm the connected broker and order type
  2. Open the net position controls
  3. Add supported protection to the net position or parent order
  4. Verify the exit orders appear after entry

If that didn’t fix it

  1. Place separate supported stop and limit exits
  2. Use a pending parent order with brackets
  3. Manage the protection in the broker platform

Verify the fix

The active position has visible supported protective orders with the intended quantities and prices.

Why this happens

Some integrations do not allow SL/TP on market orders or on each individual fill. They may only allow protective orders for the net position or as brackets attached when the parent order is placed.

Check the broker-specific order ticket and the net position. If the controls remain unavailable, place supported separate exit orders or recreate the entry with brackets according to the broker rules.
