Check the timeframe on the specific Screener filter or column. TradingView does not apply one universal timeframe to the entire Screener.
What you may be seeing
- A Screener result does not match the same indicator on your chart
- One filter appears to use daily data while you expected intraday data
- Changing a chart timeframe does not change the Screener result
Most likely causes
- The Screener filter has its own timeframe
- An inactive/default filter is using the 1-day timeframe
- The chart timeframe and Screener filter timeframe are independent
Try this first
- Open the specific Screener filter
- Check its timeframe parameter
- Select the timeframe you actually want
- Repeat for other timeframe-sensitive filters
If that didn’t fix it
- Add a new filter configured with the desired timeframe
- Document the timeframe in a saved custom screen so you do not confuse it later
Verify the fix
Compare a symbol's Screener value with the corresponding chart/indicator on the same timeframe and confirm they now align as expected.
Why this happens
TradingView Screeners do not use one global timeframe for every column and filter. Individual filters can have their own timeframe, and inactive filters in the top bar default to 1 day.
