Why isn’t my TradingView Screener updating automatically?

Short answer

Check the Screener's Auto refresh setting. If it is set to Never, the table will not update automatically.

What you may be seeing

  • Prices or metrics in the Screener appear stale
  • The table does not change unless you refresh manually
  • Another screen updates more often than the current one

Most likely causes

  1. Auto refresh is set to Never
  2. The refresh interval is slower than you expected

Try this first

  1. Open the Screener settings
  2. Find Auto refresh
  3. Choose the refresh interval you want
  4. Wait through at least one full interval and confirm the table updates

If that didn’t fix it

  1. Refresh manually when continuous updates are unnecessary
  2. Check whether the specific data field itself updates on a slower schedule than price data

Verify the fix

Leave the Screener open and confirm values refresh according to the selected interval.

Why this happens

TradingView Screener has an Auto refresh setting. Depending on that setting, the table can refresh every 10 seconds, every minute, or not automatically at all.
