Dec 30, 2025 – Euronext futures go live on TradingView
TradingView expanded its derivatives coverage with new Euronext Milan (Borsa Italiana) futures. This brings additional futures instruments tied to stocks, indices, and bonds, helping traders follow European derivatives markets without leaving their usual charting workspace.
A key detail in this release is that the integration includes expired contracts. That’s useful for historical research—studying how contracts behaved around major events, testing long-term market patterns, and validating how strategies might have performed in different volatility regimes.
To locate the new futures, open Symbol Search, switch to the Futures tab, and choose Italy in the country filter. TradingView noted that real-time data typically requires market data subscriptions, while delayed data may still be available for broader access.
Why it matters
- More European futures coverage for cross-market analysis and regional risk context.
- Expired contracts included to support historical study and strategy validation.
- Faster discovery through the Futures tab and country filtering.
Dec 29, 2025 – Bond yields, now where you expect them
Bond traders got a meaningful workflow upgrade in December. TradingView changed how yields are displayed so they’re more visible, more intuitive, and easier to compare—and also refined yield calculations for improved precision.
The most noticeable change is on bond symbol pages: yield to maturity (YTM) now appears next to price. Previously, YTM lived in a “Key terms” area that was easy to overlook. Now, price and yield can be read together at a glance, which matches how fixed-income decisions are actually made.
The embedded chart widget on bond pages now supports switching between price and YTM, and it opens in YTM mode by default. In Supercharts, yield analysis becomes more flexible with multiple yield scenarios available (such as yield to call, yield to put, and yield to worst).
The Bond Screener also aligns with common fixed-income practice: yield to worst is now the main yield metric (labeled simply as “Yield”), and other yield types (YTM/YTC/YTP) can be added via Filters or Columns depending on your workflow.
Why it matters
- Less friction because yield is placed where traders already look (right next to price).
- Better bond comparisons with yield-forward presentation on pages and charts.
- More realistic screening using yield to worst as the default benchmark yield.
- Improved flexibility when analyzing callable/putable bonds with scenario-based yields.
Dec 25, 2025 – CME options data goes live on TradingView
TradingView added CME options data, expanding access to derivatives markets that many traders use for hedging, volatility analysis, and macro positioning. CME options are especially relevant because they sit on top of widely followed futures markets across equities, energy, agriculture, and metals.
TradingView also clarified how discovery works in Supercharts: when you search for CME options, you may first see underlyings rather than every individual option contract. Clicking through then opens the corresponding option chain, which keeps the workflow clean and reduces clutter in search results.
To access the new dataset, open Symbol Search, go to the Options tab, and use the supported prefixes: CBOT:, CME:, COMEX:, NYMEX:.
Why it matters
- More hedging tools for futures-linked exposure in major global markets.
- Better volatility insight by analyzing options alongside spot and futures structure.
- Cleaner discovery with a consistent “underlying → option chain” workflow.
Dec 24, 2025 – Expanded derivatives coverage with Eurex options on TradingView
TradingView expanded European derivatives coverage with Eurex options now available on charts. Eurex is a major derivatives exchange, and the new dataset adds more transparency into how European market participants price risk across leading benchmarks.
The release includes options on instruments such as EURO STOXX 50 (EUREX:OESX), EURO STOXX Banks (EUREX:OESB), and DAX options (EUREX:ODAX). It also adds options on VSTOXX futures (EUREX:OVS2) and broader benchmarks like STOXX Europe 600 options (EUREX:OXXP).
To explore, open Symbol Search and enter the tickers above. Once loaded, you can apply the same layout, indicators, and alerts you already use for structured options analysis.
Why it matters
- More EU benchmark options for risk-on/risk-off and regional sentiment tracking.
- Better volatility context with VSTOXX-related options available on-chart.
- Improved strategy planning with more derivatives data accessible inside TradingView.
Dec 23, 2025 – STOXX indices are now live on TradingView
TradingView introduced STOXX indices on charts, adding another important set of benchmarks for European market analysis. For many traders, EURO STOXX 50 is a staple for tracking Eurozone equity sentiment, especially when comparing Europe vs. US performance or monitoring regional risk shifts.
To access the full list, open Symbol Search and type STOXX:. From there, add the indices you follow to a watchlist so you can check them alongside DAX, CAC, FTSE, and other key regional references.
Why it matters
- Stronger European context by tracking key benchmarks directly in your chart layouts.
- Faster symbol discovery using the STOXX: prefix search.
- Better intermarket analysis when comparing indices with FX and rates moves.
Dec 19, 2025 – Volume is now available for more NSE stock indices on TradingView
TradingView expanded volume data to more NSE stock indices beyond the Nifty 50 and Nifty Bank. Volume provides context behind price moves and can help traders judge whether a trend is supported by broad market participation or driven by a smaller pocket of activity.
Since NSE does not provide official index volume figures, TradingView implemented a rules-based calculation: index volume equals the sum of trading volumes of all index components for the given period. This logic applies across daily and intraday timeframes, and the calculation adapts automatically if index constituents change.
Newly supported indices include Nifty FMCG (NSE:CNXFMCG), Nifty Auto (NSE:CNXAUTO), Nifty Metal (NSE:CNXMETAL), Nifty IT (NSE:CNXIT), Nifty Pharma (NSE:CNXPHARMA), Nifty 500 (NSE:CNX500), Nifty SmallCap 100 (NSE:CNXSMALLCAP), and many more.
Why it matters
- Better confirmation when sector or broad-index moves are supported by higher participation.
- Improved sector rotation reads for traders focusing on India’s equity market.
- Multi-timeframe consistency with volume available across resolutions.
- Transparent methodology helps traders interpret index volume appropriately.
Dec 18, 2025 – XT.COM data now live on TradingView
TradingView added XT.COM exchange data, giving traders access to additional crypto pricing and pairs within the platform. Exchange integrations like this can help users compare market structure and confirm whether moves are consistent across venues.
To browse the new feed, open Symbol Search and type XTCOM:. From there, select a trading pair and load it in Supercharts for full indicator and drawing support.
Why it matters
- Expanded crypto coverage with another major exchange feed accessible on charts.
- Quick discovery using the XTCOM: prefix in Symbol Search.
- Better cross-checking when comparing price behavior across exchanges.
Dec 15, 2025 – The Leap co-marketed with TradeStation comes to an end
TradingView wrapped up the latest edition of The Leap, the co-marketed paper trading competition with TradeStation. The announcement included headline participation stats, prize totals, and final winners across the main leaderboard and additional award categories.
For active TradingView users, competitions can be useful structured practice—especially for testing discipline and execution in a risk-free environment. TradingView also noted that winners would be contacted via email to claim prizes.
Why it matters
- Clear competition closure for participants tracking results and prizes.
- Published performance stats that can inform practice and review routines.
- Signals future iterations as TradingView prepares what comes next.
Dec 1, 2025 – Explore 3,000+ new crypto market cap and dominance symbols
TradingView massively expanded the CRYPTOCAP dataset with new market cap and dominance symbols for individual crypto assets. The platform previously offered around 100 of these symbols; as of this release, it expands to 3,200+—a major improvement for traders who analyze crypto structure beyond price alone.
This upgrade helps you chart each token’s market cap and dominance more consistently across the crypto universe. Examples highlighted include PAX Gold (CRYPTOCAP:PAXG and CRYPTOCAP:PAXG.D), Pump.fun (CRYPTOCAP:PUMPF and CRYPTOCAP:PUMPF.D), and Sei (CRYPTOCAP:SEI and CRYPTOCAP:SEI.D).
To explore the expanded list, open Symbol Search and type CRYPTOCAP:. TradingView noted the list is no longer restricted to top market-cap symbols and will grow automatically as new crypto assets emerge.
Why it matters
- Deeper crypto analytics by pairing price action with market cap and dominance behavior.
- Better rotation signals when dominance shifts reveal where attention and liquidity are moving.
- Faster discovery via CRYPTOCAP: prefix search.
- More complete coverage as new tokens appear and symbols update over time.
